How Red Crate Rentals Started
I originally started renting gear on the side to make an extra bit of money. I would post my gear on ShareGrid and made $200 my best month. I started building the rental house using gear from my production company and posted a few times on socials that my gear was for rent. Word spread rapidly, and I quickly realized the need for a rental house in West Palm Beach, Florida.
After seeing how fast the rental company was growing and the demand for it in the area, I decided to dedicate all my time to growing Red Crate Rentals. As I got closer to filmmakers in the area, I also saw how community was a needed aspect of the filmmaking world that West Palm didn’t have.
So that became my goal with Red Crate: to serve the community through the gear they need and help build a platform for people to connect and network. I’m excited to see where the business goes in the coming months and years.
