Booking & pickup
How does booking work?
Add gear to your cart, set one rental window for the whole cart, and we check availability instantly. At checkout you pick a pickup slot, sign the agreement, and pay. Your card is charged then to confirm the reservation.
Where do I pick up?
At our prep bay in West Palm Beach, by appointment. You choose a pickup window at checkout, return happens during the same windows. If none of the slots work, text us and we’ll arrange something.
Do you deliver?
Not yet, pickup only for now, all from the West Palm Beach prep bay. Delivery is something we're looking at down the road.
Do I need an account?
No, guest checkout is fully supported. An account just makes repeat rentals faster, tracks your loyalty tier, and unlocks the community. If you sign up later with the same email, your past rentals link automatically.
ID, payment & pricing
Why do you need my ID?
First-time renters upload a driver's license so we can verify it once. It's stored privately and reviewed by an admin. Every rental after that skips the step.
When is my card charged?
At checkout, to confirm the reservation. Your card is also saved securely (via Stripe) so we can handle any late or damage fees per the agreement, nothing extra is charged without cause.
How do loyalty tiers work?
As you rent, your lifetime spend earns points and moves you up through member tiers: Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. Your account shows your current tier, points, total spent, and member-since date so you can track your standing with the crate.
Is there sales tax?
Not currently collected. When we register with the Florida DOR, a 7% rate (6% state + 1% Palm Beach County) will apply to the discounted subtotal.
Damage & cancellations
What's the damage waiver?
An optional add-on at checkout, 12% of your subtotal, that caps your liability at 10% of an item's replacement value if it's accidentally damaged, instead of 100%. It excludes theft, loss, and water/sand damage.
What's your cancellation policy?
72+ hours before pickup: full refund. 24–72 hours: 50%. Under 24 hours: no refund. There are no early-return refunds. Cancel anytime from your order page.
What if I return late?
There's a 24-hour grace period past your return time. After that, late fees accrue at one daily rate per item per day, charged to your saved card.
